S-LAW is delighted to share the speech given by its associate, Maître Thomas Bocquet, at the 159th ceremonial opening of the Liège Bar, which took place on 7 May 2021.
In 2020, Maître Thomas Bocquet won the “J’accuse” moot court competition, organised by the Brussels Bar (see previous news item).
In 2021, following two years of preparation, he delivered his speech entitled “The Price of a Life”.
His passionate and compassionate presentation aimed to demonstrate that a universal minimum value for a human life could be a factor in promoting social equity in a globalised society.
